9/11

I just want to take a moment to honor those who died on September 11th 2001. Those who were in the Towers when the planes hit, those on the planes, and those true heroes who were still going upstairs to save others when the towers fell. I want to honor the proud patriots and heroes of Flight 93, and the men and women of our armed services who have fought agasint this barbaric, oppressive, regressive, twisted and evil enemy in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the World.

On this dark anniversary consider supporting those who are fighting to make sure nothing like 9/11 ever happens again.

You can help send Soldiers stationed overseas the things that help them get throught the day by going to anysoldier.com I first discovered this wonderful organsiation a few years back and have been a proud supporter ever since.

In the same vein is Airborne Angels another organisation dedicated to supporting our brave men and women in the field.

However once our soldiers have come home, it isn't always over. Azeala helps wounded vets with medical care once thier fight is over.

And for many many more ways you can help America's Greatest Hereos go to the US army's family program pages

And remember, the best way to "support the troops" is to support their mission so those who sacrificed their lives wont have done so in vain, and so that the progress made by Americas Best wont be squandered. The best way to register your support for our boys misison overseas is to call or write your senator or congressman. The second best way is to partner with like minded people at one of the many many pro-troop organsiations such as Move America Forward , A Gathering of Eagles, Freedom Watch, or Vets for Freedom

And finally for unbiased news from on the ground in Iraq Micheal Yon is by far the single best journalist covering Iraq. He gives the good and the bad, the pretty and the ugly; you may not always like what you read, but it'll be real,
